Glow Plug Removal Set
AST6200 is a 15-piece Glow Plug Removal Set designed to safely remove seized glow plug bodies in situations where the hex has rounded, broken off or is in a non-usable condition, without causing damage to the cylinder head.
AST6200 is compatible with glow plugs that feature either an M8 x 1.0 or an M10 x 1.0 thread.
- Safely removes seized glow plug bodies without causing damage to the cylinder head
- Suitable for glow plugs with an M8x1.0 or M10x1.0 thread
- AST6200 is used to drill out the threads of the seized glow plug so it can be removed from the cylinder head
- Threads can be re-cut and cleaned up using the taps included
- A mandrel is used to extract the glow plug from its aperture.
