AST6190  Strut Nut Set will efficiently release the strut leg by opening the clamp for easy removal / replacement without risking damage to the hub casting.  The handy open sided sockets can be used with used with a hex key or spanner to counter hold the strut piston.


  • Designed for use on most popular sizes found on the majority of european vehicles
  • Suitable for a wide range of hubs commonly found on front and rear strut assemblies
  • The lobed form of the spreaders reduces the amount of effort required to expand the hub clamp
  • Included are 5 Bi-Hex 12pt open sided 1/2" drive sockets

  • 1 x 1/2" drive short hub clamp spreader
  • 1 x 1/2" drive long hub clamp spreader
  • 5 x Bi-Hex, 12pt open sided 1/2" drive sockets: 18mm, 19mm, 21mm, 22mm, 24mm
