Petrol 1.5 TSi ACT (Belt) Engine Setting / Locking Kit - VAG
AST5350 Petrol Engine Setting/Locking Kit has been designed for toothed belt replacement on VAG 1.5 TSi ACT engines.
- The OE procedure for toothed belt replacement requires the use of an electronic camshaft alignment tool in conjunction with VAG workshop software to retain and check the position of the camshafts.
- AST5350 features an adjustable camshaft looking tool that has been designed to accurately retain the camshafts in their original position while the toothed belt is removed and replaced.
- The camshaft tool can also be used in conjunction with the inclinometer to adjust the position of each camshaft should this be required.
- AST5350 also includes the required Crankshaft Setting Pin, Tensioner Adjuster, Camshaft Sprocket Pin and Auxiliary Belt Tensioner Pin, that are required as part of the belt replacement procedure.

Many engine timing procedures require the camshaft sprocket(s) to be 'free to turn' on the camshaft during belt tensioning or timing adjustment.
AST4844 Sprocket Holding Tool provides a safe and correct means of counter-holding the sprocket whilst releasing and tightening the sprocket bolt/nut.

Crankshaft Pulley Holding Tool Set - 1.0 / 1.2 / 1.4 Petrol Engines - VAG
AST5169 is used to safely and securely counter hold the crankshaft pulley during removal and installation of the pulley retaining bolt. This pulley is fitted to 1.0, 1.2 and 1.4 petrol engines in a wide range of Audi, Volkswagen, Seat and Skoda models.
This tool is suitable for use on 3 cylinder 1.0 MPi engines covered by AST5140 setting/locking kit and 1.2/1.4 TSi engines that are covered by AST5145A setting/locking kit.
