AST5299
Exhaust Camshaft Locking Tool - 1.2 GDi PureTech EB2 - Euro 6.3 / 6.4 - Citroën - Peugeot - DS - Opel/Vauxhall
AST5299 is specified for use as an exhaust camshaft setting
tool on the 1.2 GDi ‘EB2’ petrol engine with Euro 6.3 and 6.4 variants.
The tool locates onto the exhaust camshaft through a small aperture in the aluminium camshaft casing, and is used in conjunction with the flywheel pin and inlet camshaft setting tool included within AST5255.
Note: Camshaft setting tools are not intended for use as a counter
hold when removing and installing the camshaft sprocket bolts during belt
replacement procedures.

AST5255 contains the setting/locking tools required for engine valve timing applications on 1.2 GDi (direct injection) ‘EB’ series belt-in-oil (also known as wet belt) engines, installed in models across the Citroen-Peugeot range as well as in shared platform models from the Opel-Vauxhall range.
