AST6079 Oil Filter Wrench has been developed to aid removal of oil filters on a wide range of vehicles fitted with spin-on filter canisters.

AST6079 Cap Wrench features 14 sides that fit securely onto the formed end of the oil filter canister to provide a secure method of removal.

A 3/8" square drive allows the wrench to be used with a standard 3/8" ratchet or torque wrench for installation. This tool also features a 27mm hexagonal form to provide an alternative method of removal.
Applications include Ford 2.0TDCi EcoBlue engine fitted to Transit and Transit Custom (2016-).

AST6079 may also be used on filters fitted to a wide range of vehicles produced by a number of manufacturers such as Audi, BMW, Citroën, Fiat, Lancia, Opel Peugeot, Porsche, Renault, Seat, Skoda, Suzuki, Toyota, Vauxhall and Volkswagen.
